This is a story about a little chicken going to the land of Clucky-Cluck, and about the encounters on that way. Tomtit sings to him, so that he won’t be frightened, the Sparrow is going to tell him how to keep his direction. The Crayfish offers him a boat to cross the river. The Bear gives him her honey to eat. The Glow Worms are shining his way at night. The Tortoise gives him a lift. The Monkeys call from a tall tree that Clucky-Cluck was quite close by. What do you think, is Chick going to become afraid from the barking dogs with sharp teeth?
